General Information
Sale Time is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday. We start with Goats and Hogs, then Pairs and Head Cows. At the conclusion of the Head Sale , we sell the feeder cattle then finish with Beef Cows and Bulls.
Operating Hours:
Drop off Cattle: Monday 12 noon till 8:00 p.m. Tuesday 7:00 a.m. till the conclusion.
Checks are available as soon as all your cattle are sold. Tuesdays we do not have a posted closing time, however we guarantee the checks will be available till 6:00 p.m. All Checks are mailed with the US Postal Service. Most checks arrive by mail on Thursday, but every week 1 or 2 checks take a full 7 days to arrive (Thursday). We do everything possible so all checks arrive on Thursday!
Chesnee Livestock Market is owned by Marcus Harward. Marcus Harward is from Richfield North Carolina, where he himself raises cattle as well as operates Stanly County Livestock Market in Norwood and, along with his brother David, they operate Harward Brothers Livestock Market in Turnersburg, North Carolina. Harward Brothers operates on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. and Stanly County operates on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
